Danny Wayne Burk

Danny Wayne Burk, age 56 of Liberty, passed away July 10, 2018 in Houston, TX. Danny was born July 17, 1961 in Liberty, TX son of David Burk and Carolyn Burk Chennault. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1979 and worked as a gasoline transporter for thirty-three years for Hebert’s Distributor in Liberty. Danny was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Liberty. His happy place was at the deer lease with his deer hunting buddies. Danny had a heart of gold and he would help others before himself. He was involved in TVE where he loved helping his grandson show animals. Danny was also involved with the CASA kids which he enjoyed tremendously.

Danny was preceded in death by his father and nephew; Starett Burk. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, sons; Josh Burk and wife Kristin of Liberty, Jeremy Burk of Austin, TX, mother; Carolyn Chennault, brother; Donnie Burk and wife Tracey of Wallisville, grandson; Chandler and numerous nephews and nieces.

Services for Danny Wayne Burk will be Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11am at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 North Travis, Liberty, TX. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Danny’s memory to the CASA Foundation in Liberty County or the charity of your choice.
