Lizzie Joy LeBlanc

Lizzie Joy Smith LeBlanc, 86, of Hull passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in Beaumont. She was born March 31, 1932 in Thalia, Texas to parents Frank Smith and Alta Mae Gray Smith.

Services for Mrs. LeBlanc will be 10:00 a.m., Sunday, July 28, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin. Serving as pallbearers will be Cade LeBlanc, Glenn Askew, Chris Simmons, Sam Argon, Tim Nugent, and Jon Nugent.

Mrs. LeBlanc was a longtime resident of Hull. She was owner of the B&B Quick Stop and member of the Cleveland VFW Ladies Auxillary. Liz enjoyed dancing, crafts and even preached during her younger years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Dennison Nugent and Darvin Nugent. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Eugene LeBlanc, Sr.; her children, Helen Roach and husband Robert, Jack Nugent and wife Carol, and Howard Nugent and wife Ruth; her step-children, Brent LeBlanc and Eugene LeBlanc, Jr. and wife Monica; brothers, Charles Myrick and Curtis Myrick; sisters, Betty Guillory and Mary Parker and husband Jessie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host friends especially her close friend Bernice LaFour.
