Rayline Barnett

Rayline Barnett, age 93 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. She was born February 10, 1925 in Robstown, Texas to parents Willard and Audie Lovett Smith who preceded her in death along with her sister, Edwina Pettigrew; husband, Dr. William L. Barnett; grandson, Stephen Barnett Williams; and daughter, Dr. Jana Barnett Williams.

Mrs. Barnett was a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland where she served as librarian and church clerk. She was a member of the Woman’s Club of Cleveland, and an avid bridge player.

Survivors include her daughter, Jill Barnett Kirkonis; grandchildren, Blake Christopher Williams, and Lauren Elizabeth Williams Alford; great-grandchildren, Janalee Joie Williams, Beckett Hugh Williams, and Eloise Roxann Williams; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be private.
