Point Blank Icehouse raided by San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office

Three people were arrested Tuesday, Aug. 14, during a raid of Point Blank Icehouse, located on 10020 SH 190, in Point Black, according to a statement from the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Greg Capers authorized an investigation into allegations of ongoing criminal activity reported at that location, consisting of money laundering and illegal gambling, the statement continues.

Those arrested are Alex Mendoza, 30, of Conroe; Frank Malone, 55, of Point Blank; and Joe Melvin, 55, of Point Blank.

Asset forfeiture resulted in approximately $60,000 in cash and property. Additional charges could be pending as the investigation continues.
