100th Dayton Star statue sold

Several members of Dayton Historical Society met at McDonald’s Restaurant to celebrate the sale of the 100th Dayton star statue.

They chose to meet at that establishment for eats and treats because McDonald’s recently took delivery of a star statue that now sits at their entrance on US 90 in Dayton.

Orders may still be placed for the star statue that is made exclusively for Dayton. They may be preordered for $300, the proceeds of which benefit the many projects of the Society to preserve and share Dayton’s history.

To order a statue, contact Caroline Wadzeck at 936-402-3797 and leave a message. You will receive a call back.
