Willie Joseph Sikora – age 79 passed away Saturday September 8, 2018 in Devers, Texas. Willie was born in Crosby, Texas November 25, 1938 the son of the late Charles Sikora and Mary Brumek Sikora. Willie enjoyed gardening, fishing, as well as hunting and golfing in his early years. He enjoyed gardening so much he has worn out garden hoes. He was known for his honesty and being direct. A creative and intelligent man, he was always tinkering with something. He retired after thirty-nine years from Goodyear as a Lab Technician. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife Joann Ralmuto Sikora, sister Vi Lord, and his brothers Charles Sikora and Rudy Sikora. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Michael Sikora of Devers and significant other Danna Shipman, James Sikora and wife Catherine of Orange, Patricia Smith and husband Kent of Magnolia, brother Daniel Sikora and wife Lynell of Livingston, and a sister Drucilla Goerig of Livingston. In addition he leaves his four grandchildren Amelia Sikora, Andrea Sikora, Nikole Smith, and Sean Smith, two great grandchildren Gauge and Dawson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation for Willie will be held Thursday September 13, 2018 from 5-8PM with a Rosary service to be held at 7:30PM at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty Texas. Funeral mass to be celebrated 10AM Friday September 14, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church in Liberty with burial to immediately follow in Abshire Cemetery.
