Carolyn Ann “Miss Ann” Dean

Carolyn Ann “Miss Ann” Dean, 75, of Dayton passed away at home on Friday September 14, 2018. She was born March 8, 1943 in Nacgodoches County, Texas to parents William Echols and Syble Shaw Echols.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, Texas under the direction of Pace Stancil Funeral Home.

Ann had been a long time resident of Dayton. She was employed for several years at B & S Social club where she was lovingly referred to as Miss Ann. Ann was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Ann is survived by her sister, Loraine ‘Billie’ Zernial and husband Tom; nephew, Randall Zernial; step-nephews: Thomas and Brett Zernial, step-niece, Janell Robinson; step-daughter, Brenda D. Privett and husband, James; numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren, step-nieces, nephews, and friends
