Alvin Ray “Sonny” Beshears, 75, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. He was born on Friday, October 23, 1942 in Alvin, Texas to Boley Beshears and Jean Flanigan, both of whom have preceded him in death. Sonny was also preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Beshears, children, Terry Dewayne and Rhonda Kay Beshears, Lawana Fay Parish and Bridgette Flanigan. Left to cherish his memory is his loving spouse Janice Beshears; daughters, Judy Bryant and husband Jimmy, Regina Renee Beshears; son, Steve Beshears and wife Tamara; brother, Tim Flanigan and wife Laura; grandchildren, Jimmy Ray, Joshua, Cody, Tonya, Bud, Chesley, Raymond and Michael; great-grandchildren, Wylie, Case, Emilo, CJ, Kendall, Kaden, Hunter and Drake; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Sonny will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Monday September 24, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services for Sonny will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Interment for Sonny will immediately follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery. Pastor Michael Hilton, officiating.
