Dayton, Hardin and Tarkington crown homecoming royalty

A week of suspense for Dayton, Hardin and Tarkington high school students came to an end Friday night with the crowning of each school’s homecoming royalty.

The Dayton Broncos’ game against Barbers Hill was highlighted with the crowning of Mckenzie Lujan as homecoming queen. She was escorted to the field by her father.

During halftime of Hardin’s game against Warren, Darius White and Jaci Sims shared the spotlight at the 50-yard-line as they were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.

Tarkington’s game against Hamshire-Fannett included halftime homecoming festivities and to crown Joko Sullivan and Jacey Hoppes as king and queen.

Photographer Angel Rick Leal provided the photo from the Hardin game while photographer Sean Jones provided the photo from the Tarkington game.

The photo from the Dayton game was taken by yearbook staff and organized by Dayton ISD staff Elanie Rosser, yearbook teacher, and Travis Young, public information officer and director of student services.
