William Robert Beasley Jr.

William Robert Beasley Jr., 86 years old born February 7, 1932 passed away on September 29, 2018. Robert was born in Liberty, Texas to William Robert Beasley, Sr. and Iva Thelma Tanner Beasley. He worked for Texas Gulf Sulphur for thirty-eight years. Robert served his country honorably in the United States Air Force for over four years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was always friendly, greeting everyone with a warm smile. He was a loving, kind, polite and appreciative man. Robert was a member of the Mason’s Lodge in Hull, Texas and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Hardin United Methodist Church and the Hardin Cemetery Association. He was most proud of the work he did for Hardin Chapel Cemetery. Robert’s infectious smile and compassionate soul will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Oren S. Beasley, and Collis Earl Beasley. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 65 years Barbara Beasley; a daughter Cynthia Brewer; grandchildren Dennis Brown and Amanda Brown; great-Grandchildren Noah and Gracie Brown; brother Jim Beasley and wife Suzanne; brother Derwood and sister-in-law Avis Beasley. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and precious friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5pm – 7:30 on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 with a Masonic service to be held at 7:30pm at Hardin United Methodist, 1005 FM 834 West, Hardin, Texas 77561. Funeral services will be held the following day, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10am at Hardin United Methodist in Hardin, Texas. Burial to immediately follow in Hardin Chapel Cemetery.
