Gerald Wayne “Skip” Wilson

Gerald Wayne “Skip” Wilson, 65, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was born April 1, 1953 in Pasadena, Texas to parents Oscar Richard Wilson, Jr. and Jesse Faye Morse Wilson.

Memorial visitation for Skip will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel.

Skip grew up in Pasadena and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School. He had worked for Danco Machine as a welder fabricator. He enjoyed working on hot rods and being with his family.

Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rusty Wilson and granddaughter, Brittney Wilson. He is survived by daughter, Sandy Faye Perkins and husband Preston; son, Richard Nolan Wilson and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Jamie Williams, Austin Small, Carter Locke, Berlin Wilson, Kaitlynn Perkins, Marcus Perkins, and Mason Perkins; brother, Kirk Lynn Wilson and Sarah Crownover; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
