Broncos cross country teams compete in District 21-51 championship

Dayton cross country teams performed well at a competition on Oct. 9 in Vidor.

The Dayton Bronco cross country teams traveled to Claiborne West Park in Vidor, Texas, on Tuesday, Oct. 9, for the District 21-5A cross country championships.

The Lady Broncos started off the morning with a third-place finish, led by fifth-place overall runner and individual regional qualifier,  Anali Torres. The boys team garnered a second-place finish, led by individual qualifiers Jesse Parino in fourth place and Adan Sanchez in 10th Place.

The Broncos and Lady Broncos will both continue their season on Monday, Oct. 22, at the Region 3 cross country championships in Huntsville, Texas.

The JV boys and girls teams finished off a great day of running buy both finishing second place in the team.
