Joyce Marie Davis Seay, 86, of Liberty passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Humble. She was born July 4, 1932 in Liberty, Texas to parents Archie Davis and Vera Mary Hicks Davis.
Service for Mrs. Seay will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Liberty. The family will receive friends Monday morning 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
Mrs. Seay was a lifelong resident of Liberty where she attended Liberty schools. She was a member of the Heights Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed playing cards, games, and reading. Joyce loved her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and will be remembered for her delicious pecan, chocolate and lemon pies.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herman “Bo” Seay; daughter, Janis Marie Seay and sister, Erma Jean Smart. She is survived by sons, Glenn Seay and wife Gaye and Harold Seay and wife Karrie; daughter, Gwenda Judd and husband John; grandchildren, Shane and Jill Seay, Reagan and Mark McKane, Kristen and Dustin Pool, Allen Seay, Sarah and Curtis Reeves, and Michael Seay; step-grandchildren, Jake, Shelby, Kelsey, Danny and Daryll; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary, Jonathan, Gabriel, Kaleb, Maddox, Ella, Violet, Henry, and Grace; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
