Carrie Marie Gautreaux

Carrie Marie Gautreaux, 86, of Batson, died on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. at Guedry Cemetery in Batson. The family will be receiving friends also on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Faith & Family. Serving as pallbearers are Cam Desselle, Jake White, Bill Gautreaux II, Tommy Desselle, Michael White, and Bill Gautreaux Sr. Honorary pallbearer is Gary Richardson.

A native of Evangeline, Louisiana she had lived in Batson for 42 years and was a homemaker and caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Bill” Gautreaux. Sons, Berne Gautreaux, Bobby Gautreaux and wife Shirley. Sisters, Vivian Leckelt, Annette Miller, Loraine Gott. Brothers, John Breaux, William Breaux, and son in law, Mike Jordan.

Survivors are sons, Rufus Wayne Gautreaux of Batson, Bill C. Gautreaux and wife Darla of Batson, and Brady Gautreaux of Batson. Daughters, Ceda Marie Jordan of Henderson, Cynthia Desselle and husband Tommy of Cloverleaf, Texas and Cathy White and husband Michael of Dayton, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
