Mary Alice Parker

Mary Alice Parker, 84, of Dayton peacefully passed away at her home on December 4, 2018. She was born October 23, 1934 to parents James Robert “Bob” Meadows and Issy Ozella Cobb Meadows.

Mrs. Parker had lived in Kenefick for over 75 years. She was always very active with the Kenefick Civic Center, the KVFD Ladies Auxiliary and the Red Cross.

Services for Mrs. Parker will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December- 6, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with interment to follow at French Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Bailey Edmondson, Hoot Edmondson, Clifford Edmondson, Sr., Beau Williams, Bodie Reynolds, Josh Ayers, Jason Davis and James Fingleman.

Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvie Leroy Parker, son Charles Vernon Parker, grandson Marcus James Fingleman, great-granddaughter Bristol Sam Reynolds. She is survived by daughters, Mary Thompson and Terry Blanscet and husband Jody; grandchildren,, Alison and Jason Davis, Scharlene and Josh Ayers, James “Bubba” and Jessica Fingleman; Traci and Clifford Edmondson, Sara and Beau Williams, and Beth and Bodie Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Cameron Sorenson, Shaleigh Masters, Kaylee Holmes, Abbie, Bradley, and Gabby Fingleman, Bailey, Clifford Jr. “Hoot”, and Scarlett Edmondson, Tifini Parker, Lance Davis, Ava, Hannah, Nikki and Kyla Stark, Serenity Ayers, Ty and Ainsley Williams and Brittyn and Blair Reynolds; great great-grandchild, Adalyn Sorenson; sister, Virginia Thompkins and husband Jim; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
