Vicky Austin Cheatham

Vicky Austin Cheatham, 68 of Mont Belvieu, Texas passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 15, 1950 and the only daughter to the late Steve Austin and Francis Creila. Vicky graduated from Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas in 1969. She loved sewing and planting in the garden. Vicky was loud, full of love, very strong woman, loved to talk and most of all love her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; cousins Herbert Wilkinson and Jimmy Wilkinson.

Vicky leaves behind to cherish her loving memories daughter, Ginger and husband Timothy Vaughn; sons, David and his wife Susan Lackey and Buck Johnson; grandchildren Destiny Lackey, Megan Lackey, Ty Vaughn and Tanner Vaughn; brother Steve and his wife Rita Austin, and very dear friend Kay Vaughn.

Friends are invited to gather with the family 11am on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home located at 602 N Main St, Dayton, Texas 77535. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at Noon.
