Larry Eugene Brannen, Sr.

Larry Eugene Brannen, Sr., 71, of Liberty passed away January 5, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born May 24, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents, Lloyd George Brannen and Jeanette Glamore Brannen.

Service for Larry will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Christopher Brannen officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, January 10, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.

Larry had been a resident of the Liberty area since 1983. He was an asbestos worker for over 53 years and worked in sheet metal. He owned several business through his life. Larry was a fisherman, shrimper and outdoors man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ben Brannen, and daughter Velvet Dee Brannen. He is survived by sons, David Brannen, and Larry Brannen, Jr. and wife Laura, his devoted partner, Roeuy Brannen; brother, Hershel Brannen and wife Delores; grandchildren, Nikki Juarez and husband Nathan; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Brannen and Margaret Brannen; nephew, Chris Brannen and wife Emily; niece, Kristi Huff and husband Allen; great nieces, Allison Huff Manry and Erika Morgan; great nephew, Benjamin Brannen; cousin, Terry Kramer and children, Charlie and Kevin, and many other relatives and friends.
