Letter to the editor: Thanks to first responders

I want to personally thank the Liberty County EMS and the HWY 321 Fire Department for their professional attention they provided to my son this past Sunday.

Bill Hergemueller was very attentive to my son’s needs.  He acted quickly and made the right decision on calling LifeFlight as soon as he saw the situation.  The volunteers from the HWY 321 Fire Department were the most caring and compassionate people I have seen.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such care of my son!
