Dayton powerlifting results

The Dayton High School powerlifting teams earned high marks at a meet in Anahuac on Jan. 31. The girls took home first place and the boys took second place.

The following girls placed in their weight class:

  • Riley Ellis (3rd)
  • Kennedi Mumphrey (2nd)
  • Taylor Ellis (1st)
  • Laila Beck (1st)
  • Kloee Wells (2nd)
  • Toni Vargas (2nd)
  • Sydnee Hebert (1st)

The following boys placed in their weight class:

  • Colby Bueltmann (3rd)
  • Alexander Lopez (2nd)
  • Zach Pike (2nd)
  • Gavin Bennett (1st)
  • Lukas LaFargue (2nd)
  • Dalton Patterson (3rd)

Both teams will compete at the Dayton powerlifting meet held at WWJH on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 4 p.m.
