Rose B. Prigmore

Our Beloved Mother Rose B. Prigmore, 82, of Hull, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 5, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.

She was born in Maud, TX on March 13, 1937, to her parents Burpee Battenfield and Opal Hendrix. She had lived in Hull for many years and had worked as a custodian for New Caney I.S.D. for many years. She was a wonderful grandmother and servant who loved to cook, and loved very much her grand and great -grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her son, Jerry W. Prigmore of Batson; daughter Holly E. Garcia and husband Robert of Batson. Brothers, Edmon Battenfield and wife Nelda of New Caney, TX; Earl Battenfield and wife Roseann of Grangerland, Tx; and Larry Battenfield and wife Betty of Batson. Sisters, Linda Lafferty of Granger, TX; Judy Price of Grangerland, TX; Glenda Dickinson and husband Phillip of Grangerland TX.

Grandchildren, Jennifer Fuselier and husband Spencer of Bridge City, TX; Nicholas Shults and wife Shelby of Porter, TX; Selena Garcia of Batson. Great grandchildren, Avian Taylor, and Hailey Shults.

Before creating Bluebonnet News in 2018, Vanesa Brashier was a community editor for the Houston Chronicle/Houston Community Newspapers.
