Ruby Lee Purswell

Ruby Lee Purswell, age 96 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born September 4, 1922 in Normangee, Texas to parents Lawrence and Iva Farris who preceded her in death along with her husband, Joe Purswell; and brother, Louie N. Farris.

Survivors include her children Brenda Purswell of Tarkington Prairie, TX, Alfred and Frances Purswell of Conroe, TX, Don and Linda Purswell of Tarkington Prairie, TX; brother, Albert Farris of Madisonville, TX; grandchildren, Susan and John Daniels of Conroe, TX, Melissa and Billy Perry of Rice, TX, Ruby and James McCall, III of Willis, TX, Stephanie and Richard Lambert of Romayor, TX, Jody and Sarah Purswell of Starkville, MS, Tim and Anissa Purswell of Sunray, TX; great-grandchildren, Avery Kissellus, Balthazar Daniels, Casper Daniels, Isabell Perry, Chloe Perry, Joseph Perry, James McCall, IV, Zoey McCall, Charlotte McCall, Megan Lambert, Beth Lambert, Grace Purswell, Brody Purswell and Mason Purswell; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Boothe Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
