Beasley seeking reelection to Liberty City Council

Dennis Beasley is currently serving on the Liberty City Council and is seeking reelection on May 4.

“While serving on the council I have learned a great deal and feel I have the knowledge and experience to complete projects that are currently underway for the betterment of the city,” Beasley said.

The city has rebuilt its electrical system, upgraded its wastewater system and added a new water well and tower with connecting lines to be started soon, Beasley added.

“When these underground projects are completed, street paving will begin.  These projects prepare our city for future growth,” Beasley said. “The council has striven over the last several years to keep the tax rate stable, and last year we were able to reduce the rate by $0.03.”

Beasley is asking Liberty residents for their votes in the May 4 election and reminds residents that early voting begins on April 22.

Beasley says he is open to any concerns Liberty residents might have about the city.

“If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them to the best of my ability,” he said.
