Judy Diane McFaddin Wood

Judy Diane McFaddin Wood, 79, of Dayton passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at home. She was born December 11, 1939 in Baytown, Texas to parents, D.J. McFaddin, Sr. and Mary Poole McFaddin.

Service for Judy will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. before the service on Wednesday at Pace-Stancil.

Mrs. Wood was a long-time resident of Baytown where she attended Robert E. Lee High School. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of several different league teams. Judy loved being with her family and always supported her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by attending all their events. She really enjoyed the outdoors, tending her plants and mowing her yard. One of her favorite activities was antiquing, also going to the movies. She was devoted to her precious little yorkie, “Izzy”.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brother D.J. McFaddin, Jr.,and grandson Jordon Bret Pierce. She is survived by her children, Dana DiFrancesco and husband Robert, Kathy Pierce and husband Bret, Pamela Paré and husband Ronnie, and Jory Wood and wife Lesli; her grandchildren, Jessica DiFrancesco ,Lindsey Hinojosa and husband Cory, Erik Pierce and wife Tamami, Katrinia Bauer and husband Scott, Jodi Woods and husband Jesse, Carissa DiFrancesco, Jered Pierce and wife Brittany, Torrie Paré, Brody Pierce, Seth Wood, and Allie Wood; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Karson, Emma, Addison, Jordon, Jess, Aiden, Jace, Layton, Jaxx and Payson; nephews, Shawn McFaddin, Jeremy McFaddin; sister-in-law, Cathy McFaddin; her devoted little “Izzy”; numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends.
