George H. Shirley, Sr.

George H. Shirley, Sr., 76, of Splendora, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Monday June 1, 1942, in Grayson, Louisiana, to O.C. Shirley and Vergie Louise (Calvin) Shirley Sears, both of whom have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister’s Laverne Linton, and Judy Shirley, grandchildren, Kaytrey Shirley and Timothy Serafina.  Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 58 years Gladys Shirley; children, George H. Shirley, Jr. and wife Roxann, Bobby Lee Shirley and wife Sheryl Siddall, Jessie J. Shirley and wife Dana Marie, George H. Shirley III and wife Shanna; sister, Victoria Doran; grandchildren, Tyler Jo, Emily, Tracie, Tiffany, Christina, Angel, Jordan, and Shawn Shirley, Devin Louis, Delana Wilson, Raymond, Leeland, Victoria Diane, Osgood, and Sabrina Shirley, David, Katrina, Michael, Madison, and Megan Serafina, Maddox, and Cameron Shirley; great-grandchildren, J.D., Stepanie, Marie, Riley, Savannah, Thomas H., Dakota, Damion, Dalton, Kyle.and Gwenith.

All arrangements were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
