Weldon Lloyd Marriott

Weldon Lloyd Marriott, age 84 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019. He was born July 17, 1934 in Rice, Texas to parents T.D. and Ophelia Hughes Marriott who preceded him in death along with his wives, Bonnie Ruth Marriott and Wilma Marriott; son, Timothy Marriott; brothers, Norman Marriott, Robert Marriott and Jerry Marriott; and sister, JoAnn Strickland.

Mr. Marriott was a member of UPC Charity Tabernacle in Blanchard, Texas. He was a hard-working man who took pride in everything he did. In his spare time, you could catch him watching westerns and enjoying a good meal.

Survivors include his son, Stephen Marriott; daughter, Cheryl Werth and husband Hugo; daughters-in-law, Kim Marriott and Loretta Marriott; grandchildren, Kimberly Fuqua, April Marriott, Crystal Theodoridis and husband Chris, Stephen Marriott and wife Tessa, Greg Garcia and wife Andrea, and Travis Ries; great-grandchildren, Crystal, Corey, Lyla, Christos, Eleni, Londyn, Chase, Layne, Caleb, Liam and Aria; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
