U.S. Congressman Brian Babin (TX-36) hosted a roundtable discussion with over a dozen members of the clergy from Liberty and Chambers Counties Tuesday evening at his Liberty County Satellite Office (located in inside the Dayton Police Station).
A wide range of topics were discussed included being a Christian leader in the community, protecting the First Amendment rights of ministers, ending infanticide, rejecting anti-Semitism, and church and community safety.
The meeting concluded with prayer for our communities, country, and prayer for Rep. Babin as he serves in Congress (photo attached).
“It is so important to meet with the leaders of our churches,” said Babin. “As a Christian myself, holding these roundtables with our local pastors to discuss the many issues that our country is facing is extremely close to my heart.”
