Vickie Lynn Lankford

Vickie Lynn Lankford was born September 20, 1958 in Houston, Texas and passed away June 8, 2019 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 60. Vickie was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, grandmother. She had the privilege to spend her days raising her daughters and taking care of her family. Vickie was preceded in death by her previous husband, Leslie Leigh Hedges; father, James Allen Hefelfinger; daughter, Shanna Lea Hedges. Vickie is survived by her mother, Laura Lorene Blue and Husband Clarence of Cleveland, Texas; husband of 14 years, Jim Lankford of Cleveland, Texas; daughters, Sherry Lynn Hedges of Splendora, Texas, Kristie Ann Sanchez and husband Louis of Livingston, Texas and Amanda Gail Muirhead and husband David of Splendora, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph, Sofia, Hailie, Allison and Jacob; brother, Rocky Hefelfinger; sisters, Debbie Crabb and husband Gillie, Kathy Whetsine and husband Shorty, Patricia Atkinson and husband Steve, Brenda Klopfenstein and husband Greg and Cindy Loving and husband Jesse; and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6-8pm. The Celebration of Life service will be in the Neal Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10am with Pastor Joe Walts officiating. Burial will follow at the Kidd Cemetery in New Caney, Texas.
