Upon arrival, the deputies located a 44-year-old white male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest area. EMS personnel arrived shortly thereafter, and transported the victim to Conroe Regional Medical Center where he underwent emergency surgery and is expected to survive.
Detectives with the Homicide and Violent Crime unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were also dispatched to investigate the incident. Early findings indicated that the shooting stemmed from a vehicle accident between a white Chevy Tahoe and a silver Nissan SUV.
