Tillie Ann Meekins

Tillie Ann Meekins, age 78, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. She was born May 6, 1941 in Evergreen, Texas to parents Seth Gambill and Ola Lee Dabney who preceded her in death along with her son, Otis Gambill Meekins; grandson, Tommy Beavers; and great-grandson, Greyson McCool.

Tillie was all about family and loved her prayer group. She enjoyed NASCAR, reading, watching birds and animals. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jerry Otis Meekins; sons, Craig Olin Meekins and wife Jill, Donald Brian Meekins and wife Deawyn, Andy Wells and wife Kristi, Keith McMullen and wife Amy; daughter, Melodie Gonzales and husband Eddie; sisters, Peggy Flanagan and husband Jerry, Melba Crowson; grandchildren, Eric Meekins, Steffanie Meekins, Phillip Meekins, Brandi Beavers, Daniel McCool and Kayla McCool; great-grandchildren, Lily Ann McCool, Elena McCool and Daniel McCool, III; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen, Texas.
