MCSO: Teen caught on camera urinating on Porter Walmart shelf

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred at the Walmart located at 23561 US-59 in Porter, Texas. A video surfaced on social media depicting a group of teenagers engaged in a vulgar act inside the store.

According to a statement from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, after the video began circulating on social media, citizens contacted Walmart about the incident. Upon reviewing their security video, it was confirmed that one of the suspects urinated on a shelf.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the incident occurred on July 27, 2019, and that the suspects reportedly also attempted to steal a case of beer. They were stopped by Walmart loss prevention as they attempted to leave the store, but were let go. It was unknown to Walmart staff at that time that one of the suspects had urinated on a shelf near the beverage aisle, according to the MCSO statement.

Authorities say this is an active investigation and detectives are still attempting to identify the individuals involved. Charges will be filed when the suspects are identified.

“The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will not tolerate these types of vulgar acts. Tampering with consumer products is not only morally reprehensible, but can be a felony offense by which offenders will be charged,” the statement reads.

Anyone with information about this incident or the individuals involved is urged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800, and reference case #19A243994.
