Clint Edward Schoppe was born in Kingwood, Texas on April 22, 2003 and he went to his Heavenly Home on August 19, 2019 at the age of 16. Clint was a junior at Shepherd High School and loved football and baseball. He was proud to be a Pirate and developed special friends in school and through the Athletic Department. Clint was preceded in death by his cousin, Ethan Vaughn Cronin; grandmother, Cynthia Burnett; great-grandparents, Roberta Taylor Hawkes, Edwin Vaughn Sherrard, and Harold Ray Bobo; uncle, Ray Bobo. He is survived by his beloved mother, Darlynn Schoppe; father, Edward Garner Schoppe Jr.; grandparents, Carol Sherrard, Eddie Sherrard, Edward Schoppe Sr., and Janie Schoppe; great-grandmother, Minnie Sherrard Wood; sister, Lori Jean Schoppe; half- brother, Edward Garner Schoppe III; step sister, Mariah Votaw; aunts, Lisa Cronin and husband Earl, Teressa White, Monica Schoppe and Marco Mendoza; cousins, Sarah Cronin, Rebekah Cronin, Billy Cronin; and numerous other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5-7pm. The Celebration of Life Service will be in the Neal Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 2pm with Pastor Zack Currie officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Anthony Newsom, Daniel “Pooh Bear” Brown, James Savell, Coach Cedric White, Brice Major, Dylan Brown and Keith Walding. The Shepherd High School football team and coaches will serve as honorary pallbearers.
