Carolyn Diana McHenry Vyoral

Carolyn Diana McHenry Vyoral, 71, of Dayton passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2019 in Huffman, Texas.  She was born September 7, 1948 in Cleburne, Texas to parents Charles McHenry and Glynwith Hilton McHenry.

Carolyn had been a resident of Dayton for the past 22 years after moving from Huffman.  She retired from Huffman ISD after nearly three decades of service.  Carolyn loved to be in the woods surrounded by nature; she had a very “gypsy soul”.  Carolyn attended St Anne’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the Shepherd’s Staff. She loved to paint and to write stories and illustrate them for the grandchildren. 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Christy Carol Bardwell.  She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Charlie Vyoral of Dayton; her sons, Charles Bardwell and wife Valerie and John Bardwell; her daughter, Terra Gibson Myrow and husband Brian; brothers, Butch McHenry and wife Ann Marie, Jerry McHenry and wife Betty; sister, Anne McHenry; grandchildren, Brittany Norman and husband Kavan, Alexis Bardwell, Jonathan Bardwell, Matt Bardwell, Christina Bardwell, Dennis Bardwell, Tyler Myrow, and Dillon Myrow; great granddaughter, Autumn Bardwell; mother-in-law, Margaret Vyoral; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
