Marvin Langston Aiken, Sr.

Marvin Langston Aiken, Sr., age 84 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019. He was born October 29, 1934 in Henderson, Texas to parents Joseph Martin and Leola Aiken who preceded him in death along with his wife, Betty Joyce Aiken; brothers, Bill Aiken and Joe Mack Aiken; and sister, Betty Jean Thornton.

Mr. Aiken enjoyed fishing and traveling across the country in his motor home.

Survivors include his sons, Marvin L. Aiken, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Robert L. Aiken and wife Connie, Randall L. Aiken and wife Teresa, and John B. Aiken; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Jordan, Kori, Philip, Skyler, Nicholas, Thomas, Randall, II. and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Eris and Zen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2019 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas.
