With flooding conditions occurring in parts of Southeast Texas, some local school districts are already making the decision to cancel all classes on Thursday, Sept. 19.
So far, Cleveland, Hardin, Liberty, Tarkington, Splendora, Hull-Daisetta and Dayton ISDs have announced that school is canceled on their campuses for Thursday. Shepherd will have a two-hour delayed start, which could change if conditions worsen.
