Matthew Jay Leal

Matthew Jay Leal, age 20 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. He was born July 18, 1999 in Houston, Texas to parents Fidencio Leal and Michelle Colvin-Shirley. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, J.C. & Barbara Colvin, Delia Trejo.

Survivors include his parents, Michelle Colvin and husband Carl, Freddie Leal and wife Joanna; grandfather, Olegario R. Trejo; girlfriend, Cody Riendeau; siblings, Christian Anthony Leal, Mercedes Soliz, and Destiny Palacios; close friends, Jayden Wisdom, Sterling Wisdom, Fernando Lomas, Trao Conner, Corbin Konarick, Jordan Henderson, Peyton Kircher, Dylan Miller, Zach Peirce, Blake Parison and numerous other friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
