Bernia Gayle Blackburn, 62, of Splendora, Texas passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 in Kingwood, Texas. She was born on Monday, August 12, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Carney Claude McGee and Allie Hortense (Murphy) McGee, both of whom have preceded her in death. Bernia was also preceded in death by brothers, Buddy McGee, and Buster McGee; sister, Claudette Daniel. Left to cherish her memory is her loving sons; Chay Blackburn and Susan Wallace, and Travis Leon Blackburn and wife Angela; brother, Amos McGee; sister, Margie Sprayberry; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Bernia will be held at Neal Funeral Home Chapel on October 5, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Bernia’s funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment for Bernia will follow at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery with Brad Dancer officiating.
