TVE parade will complicate travel through Liberty on Wednesday

The Trinity Valley Exposition Rodeo Parade will cause a few traffic snarls in downtown Liberty on Wednesday and Liberty Police Department is advising parade attendees to review the parade route and make their travel plans in advance.

“Main Street will be closed to through traffic starting at 9 a.m. from Texas [Ave.] to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St., and Sam Houston, west of Main to Travis, Travis to Grand,” the advisory states. “If you are on a float, make your arrangements to meet head of time. Only floats onto Main after 9 a.m. No exceptions.”

North Main will be routed down the bypass to US 90 and US 90 traffic should take US 90 east to the bypass.

There will be parking along Main St. but you will need to be there before 9 a.m. You can access parking lots from side streets without going onto Main.
