Wayne Charles Peters

Wayne Charles Peters, 73, of Anahuac, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at his home. He was born on October 22, 1945, in Houston, Texas to the late Oneida and Archie J. Peters.

Wayne worked as a welder for many years in the oil and gas industry before his retirement and was a member of the Pipefitters Local Union 211.

Wayne was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed working on his home in Anahuac following Hurricane Ike.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and his son Brandon Peters. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Dolores “Dee” Nicholas; his brother Dennis Peters; his daughter Waynette Ferguson; his grandchildren; his cousins; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A private service for Mr. Peters will be held at a later date.
