Terry Dean Sparks

Terry Dean Sparks, age 82 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019. He was born March 17, 1937 in Breckenridge, Texas to parents Oscar J. Sparks and Erma Titsworth who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Oscar Sparks and Richard Sparks.

Mr. Sparks was an Army veteran and Scout Master. He loved to go fishing, boating, traveling in his RV and woodworking in his shop. Terry was a Usher at Forest Cove Baptist Church in Kingwood for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Sparks; son, Jerry Sparks and wife Nikki; daughter, Jenny Sparks-White and husband Marcus; step-sons, Don Colburn and wife Dawn, and Tom Colburn; step-daughter, Syble Colburn-Simmons; grandchildren, Jay Sparks, Jeff Sparks, Jon Sparks, Marcus White, Jonathan White, Ashley White, Jacob Simmons and Joshua Simmons dog, Sparky Sparks; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to https://www.samaritanspurse.org/
