James Clifton Jeffus

James Clifton Jeffus was born April 18, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away December 2, 2019 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 74. James served his country in the US Navy from 1963-1967. He had a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston and was an engineer in rotating equipment. James was preceded in death by his parents, John Clifton Jeffus and Elizabeth Marie Jeffus; wife, Kathy Jeffus. He is survived by his children, Vince Jeffus and fiancée Hazel Jeffus of Cleveland, Texas, Maranda Jeffus of Buffalo, Oklahoma; brothers, Bobby Jeffus and Billy Jeffus; sister, Barbara Kaye Rayford; grandchildren, Brooklyn Jeffus, Rhett Jeffus, Marilyn Hurst, Kalli Jeffus-Kleb and Ella Jeffus. James will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
