Sharon Shanks, age 68 of Liberty, TX passed away peacefully beside her loving husband at Liberty-Dayton Hospital on December 3, 2019. She was born on February 22, 1951 in Marysville, Kansas to Vernon Keith and Elsie Piza Keith.
Sharon enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. She was an avid reader. Sharon and her husband, Morris were soul-mates. She was highly devoted to him and loved spending time with him. They were inseparable. Sharon was a precious lady who loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Delbert Keith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of forty-two year Morris Shanks; son Jason Shanks and wife Yanth; Mark Shanks and wife Tina; daughter Margaret Parliament and husband Phillip; sisters Margaret Mooney and husband Tommy Joe, Mary Crosby and husband Phillip, Joyce Edwards and husband Bill; sister-in-law Carolyn Keith; grandchildren Kimberly Martinez Gonzalez, Lauren Shanks, Breanna Shanks, Kinsey Shanks, Paige Parliament and Paxton Parliament. In addition to she leaves behind numerous other loving family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10am at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty.
