Dayton ISD’s Woodrow Wilson Junior High took 38 eighth-grade band students to Lumberton High School for the Middle School All-Region Band Auditions on Saturday, Dec. 7. Twelve students made the band and two others were named as alternates. These students will represent Woodrow Wilson Junior High in the Middle School All-Region Band in January.
Middle School Band Director Daniel Williams stated, “Overall, we are impressed with the student’s work ethic, their attitudes, and their commitment to success. Not only are we proud of their accomplishments, but the WWJH Band Directors are also proud of how the students conducted themselves at this contest. We received several compliments about our students’ behavior from the Lumberton staff and from our very own chaperones.”
