John Preston Hendrix

John Preston Hendrix, age 65 of Manvel, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019. He was born February 3, 1954 in Monroe, Alabama to parents John Frank and Minnie Hendrix. He is preceded in death by his father, John Frank Hendrix; sisters, Judy Lopez and Renay Welch; and brother, Steve Hendrix.

Mr. Hendrix enjoyed fishing and loved to cook.

He is survived by his mother, Minnie Hendrix; brother, Danny Hendrix; sisters, Linda Sue Stokes, Marilyn Scroggins and husband David, Shirley Lefevre and husband Randy, Juanita Gomez and husband Ruben, Davida Alanzo, Denise Cross and husband David; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, Cleveland, Texas.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Beth Wetmore his caretaker for 7 years.
