Melissa “Meli” Lissette Hernandez was born on Sunday October 19, 2003, in Humble, Texas and passed from this life too soon on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the age of 16 in Houston, Texas. Melissa was preceded in death by her grandfather, Luis Antonio Rivas. Left to cherish her memory is her loving parents; Ruben Hernandez and Karen Lissette (Rivas) Hernandez; sister, Hannah Elizabeth Hernandez; grandparents, Ana Obdulia calderon de Rivas, Ernestina Zamudio de Hernandez and Ricardo Hernandez Estrada; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for Melissa will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services for Melissa will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at Neal Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
