Jimmie Williamson

Jimmie Williamson, 94, of Hull, TX, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Kingwood Hospital in Houston, TX, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Williamson was born on November 28, 1925, in Hardin, TX, to the late Pleasant Bee Williamson and Cora Daniels. He was a retired master carpenter first starting out as an oilfield worker /construction worker. He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 1193 Hull, TX, holding ranks of 33rd degree. Mr. Williamson was a faithful servant serving as Deacon at his church. He enjoyed cookouts, fish fry’s and playing music with his family. His secret barbeque sauce was loved by all. His favorite pastime was mowing his lawn. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Mr. Williamson is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy Louise Williamson; son, Michael Thomas Williamson; brothers, Iron Tatum Williamson, Stewart Lee Williamson, Arthur Williamson and Carl Davis Jr.

Those left to cherish Mr. Williamson’s memory are his sons, Bradford Paul Williamson and wife Kellye of Hardin, James Leslie Williamson and wife Linda of Gladewater, TX; daughters, Laura Collene Potetz and husband Robert of Hardin, Annette Marie Yeager and husband Doug of Conroe, Janet Louise Williamson of Rockdale, TX; brother, George Anson Williamson of Cleveland; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, and other dear relatives.

A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services Inc. 40847 Hwy 105 E, Batson, Tx 77519 with Pastor Kent Brown officiating, interment will follow at Guedry cemetery in Batson, with Masonic committal service. A gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until service time also at Faith and Family Funeral Services Inc.

Honoring Mr. Williamson as pallbearers are, Casey Williamson, James Williamson, Cameron Baird, Matthew Ubnoskye, Duayne Flectcher and Jimmy Flowers. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
