The Board of Trustees of Cleveland ISD unanimously approved a one-year extension to the contract of Superintendent Chris Trotter at the Jan. 21 meeting, extending Trotter’s contract through June 30, 2025.
“Mr. Trotter has clearly exceeded expectations by safeguarding students during flooding, proactively planning for hyper-growth for personnel and facilities planning, proactively training and developing staff, ultimately passing the bond with no tax rate increase,” said Board President Chris Wood in an emailed statement.
Wood continued, “His experience, leadership, vision and proven dedication to serving kids is evident in his daily management of the school district. We look forward to the continued progress we are seeing at Cleveland ISD.”
