James Marshall Henley

James Marshall Henley, 73, of Star City, Arkansas, formerly of Liberty, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on August 2, 1950, the son of the late James Dawson Henley and Frances Marie Latz Henley. His parents, daughter Lisa Giffin, and brother Roger Dale Henley all preceded him in death.

Mr. Henley was a member of Star City United Pentecostal Church. He retired from L.D. Long Logging Company, and during his career in logging, he was a log truck driver and a log cutter.

Survivors are his son John Henley of Liberty, Texas; daughter Toni Absher of Liberty, Texas; brother Justin Douglas Henley of Star City, Arkansas; sister Mavis Westerman of Watson, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service and committal will be held at 11am, on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Ryan cemetery in Tarkington Prairie, Texas.
