Nicandro Castro,63, of Splendora, Texas entered the gates of heaven on Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1961, in Guadalajara, Mexico to Modesto Castro and Obdulia Valdez. Nicandro was a happy man.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He raised his kids in Virginia then later moved to Texas, where he helped raise his grandson, James. Nicandro is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lilia Castro.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wonderful wife of 38 years, Marisela Gutierrez; children, Jose Castro and Janet Castro her spouse Nino Pecina; grandchildren, James Castro, Jasmin Castro, Benjamin Pecina, and Christopher Pecina; siblings, Liberato Castro, Rumualdo Castro, Noreto Castro, Ybeth Castro, Guillermina Castro, Lucio Castro, and Ole Castro; and a host of loving family and treasured friends.
Visitation for Nicandro will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Neal Funeral Home. A service of remembrance will be on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at Neal Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
