Oil Explorers seeks community support for educational trip to France, Spain

The Oiler Explorers, a dedicated group of student travelers committed to providing enriching educational experiences for local students, are thrilled to announce an upcoming opportunity for students to travel to France and Spain.

This international program, facilitated through EF Educational Tours, aims to broaden global perspectives and enhance cultural understanding.

The trip promises invaluable experiences, including immersion in French and Spanish culture, historical exploration, and language practice. However, the cost of organizing such an enriching trip is considerable, and support from the community is sought to make this opportunity accessible to all students. The total cost per student is $4,700, covering transportation, accommodation, and educational activities.

Local businesses are being approached to request sponsorship contributions. Donations will directly support the students’ travel expenses. Various sponsorship levels are available:

  • Bronze $100-$499: Sponsor name on travel shirt and recognition at meetings
  • Silver $500-$999: Includes all Bronze benefits, plus a plaque
  • Gold $1,000-$1,999: Includes all Silver benefits, plus a sponsor shout-out on Oiler Radio at all West Hardin Home Games
  • Liquid Gold $2,000-plus: Includes all Gold benefits, plus a Football program sponsor page at all West Hardin Home Games

All donations are 100 percent tax deductible. This experience is expected to significantly impact students’ personal and academic growth, fostering a greater appreciation for global cultures and enhancing future opportunities. Support for this important educational endeavor will also demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and youth development.
