Bronco Community Tailgate kicks off school year with fun, fundraising

On August 23, 2024, the Dayton All-Sports Booster Club hosted a lively Community Tailgate at Bronco Stadium to celebrate the start of the new school year and the beginning of fall sports. The event saw a great turnout, with the community coming together to support the Broncos.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet the Bronco athletes and enjoy performances by the band, cheerleaders, and dance teams.

Dayton ISD Child Nutrition provided free popcorn and snow cones, adding to the festive atmosphere. The event also featured a variety of games, food, and entertainment for all ages.

A highlight of the evening was the dunking booth, where Dayton ISD administrators and coaches volunteered to be dunked.

Sponsored by the Dayton High School PTO, the dunking booth raised $1,300 for Project Graduation for the class of 2025.

The Bronco Community Tailgate was a huge success, offering fun for everyone while also supporting a great cause.
